Abstract: A corrective PIR sensor system includes a PIR sensor circuit with a PIR sensor for controlling and electrical load circuit in response to occupancy detection. The PIR sensor is couples to an auxiliary sensor for measuring or monitoring one or more environmental condition. The corrective PIR sensor system also has a computing device connected to the PIR sensor and the auxiliary sensor for running corrective intelligent software or firm-wear to reduce false triggers of the PIR sensor circuit based on the environmental condition measured or monitored by the auxiliary sensor.
Abstract: An emergency lighting system uses a wireless mesh network to control the dimming of luminaires in the event of a power failure or a power outage. Luminaires are commissioned to different dimming power levels depending on localized lighting needs during the power failure of power outage.

Abstract: A germicidal light fixture includes a germicidal camber with a UV or UVC light engine therein for treating air. The germicidal chambers is in communication with ventilation that includes for examples fans the draws untreated air into the germicidal chamber and pushes treated air out of the germicidal chamber. The germicidal light chamber is preferably accessible for service and the germicidal light fixture includes reveres occupancy detection for turning off the UV or UVC light engine when occupants are detected at or near the germicidal light fixture. The germicidal light fixture can also include task lighting for providing work-space lighting when occupants are detected at or near the germicidal light fixture.

Abstract: A LED lighting system with an adaptive current LED driver circuit is disclosed. The adaptive current LED driver circuit includes a LED driver for powering a LED light fixture and an adaptative circuit. The adaptive circuit includes a measuring circuit and a CPU or micro-processor for running adaptive software that computes operating currents and/or operating voltages of the LED driver and adjusting operating line current values of the LED driver meet optimal power requirements of the LED light fixture.
Abstract: A sensor, such as a motion sensor and/or an occupancy sensor, a soft switch relay controller, or a power pack can significantly reduce the in-rush current and thereby extend the life of relays and other electrical components susceptible to damage caused by in-rush current or voltage surges. The sensor, soft switch relay controller, and/or power pack can reduce the in-rush current when enabling or disabling a light source.
