Abstract: A product display assembly (100) includes a product display device (110) and a security device (160). The display device (110) includes a boom (112) and a peg hook (114). The hook (114) exhibits merchandise along a length of the hook (114). The security device (160) includes a base (118), an arm portion (164) pivotally mounted to the base (118) for rotation, and a foot portion (166) coupled to and extending away from the arm portion (164). In a securing position, movement of merchandise (130) contacts the security device (160). In a retrieval position, the security device (160) is rotated away from the peg hook (114) such that movement of merchandise does not contact the security device (160) and merchandise (130) is removable from the hook (114). In a locking position, the security device (160) rotates away from the hook (114) by continuing contact with the merchandise (130).

Abstract: A merchandise display system is presented. The display system includes a support frame, a plurality of shelves disposed on the support frame, and a plurality of divider walls moveably secured to each shelf. Each shelf includes a base defining an arcuate upper surface having one or more channels formed therein. The divider walls are selectively positionable in a deployed position and/or a stowed position. In the deployed position the divider walls extend above the arcuate upper surface and in the stowed position the divider walls are disposed in the channel and are recessed below or level with the arcuate surface. In the deployed position, pairs of the divider walls cooperate with one another and the arcuate upper surface to define a lane therebetween. The lane is dimensioned to accommodate a front to back column of merchandise items.

A warning device is coupled to the security support arm and activates to provide a warning as the support arm and the security bar rotate between a plurality of positions. The positions provide a multi-stage notification including a first position where no warning is provided, a second position where a first stage warning is provided, and a third position where a second stage warning is provided.

Abstract: An interactive retail shopping system includes one or more computing devices and a date store operatively coupled to the computing devices. Each of the computing devices includes a processor, memory operatively coupled to the processor and a display device operatively coupled to the processor for exhibiting data and information thereon. The data store includes data and information defining an inventory of merchandise. Each of the processors execute computer implemented instructions that allow consumers to locate, to review and to select merchandise from within the inventory of merchandise, and that allow a retailer to pick and to present the selected merchandise and alternative merchandise to the consumers for purchase within a retail shopping environment.

The display system includes a support frame, a plurality of shelves disposed on the support frame, and a plurality of dividers coupled to each shelf. Each shelf includes a base having a plurality of arcuate surfaces extending continuously as tangent radii from a front end to a rear end of the base. In one embodiment, the arcuate surfaces and the dividers cooperate to define a plurality of lanes. Each lane is dimensioned to accommodate a front to back column of merchandise items. When a merchandise item is placed at the rear end of one of the lanes, the merchandise item traverses the lane by gravity to the forward end of the lane such that the merchandise item is presented to a prospective consumer in a substantially upright and forward facing position.

A product display system can be created by associating one or more such placard devices with a product support device. The seat defines an interior cavity. A godet is disposed in the seat. The godet defines an interior cavity for storing the personal care item. The assembly includes a godet cover plate having an opening corresponding to the seat and a hook protruding from a perimeter of the godet cover plate. When assembled the godet cover plate rest on the upper surface of the housing and is held by frictional force of the hook and the wall such that the godet is secured within the seat. A cover is rotatably mounted to the housing and, when assembled, the cover encloses the upper surface to protect the personal care item stored in the godet.
