Patent number: 4645331Abstract: A device to translationally pass a document having multiple sheets on a copier comprises an adapter element for placement on the portion of the copier housing the picture taking assembly, the adapter comprising a longitudinal plate and a transverse portion extending transversely from the longitudinal plate. The transverse portion has a longitudinal cross-section of substantially triangular outline for forming a planar surface with the portion of the copier housing the picture taking assembly. A longitudinal slide bar is positioned above and extends the length of the longitudinal plate and the transverse portion. A transparent plate bears the document to be carried and includes on one edge thereof means for slideably engaging the slide bar, whereby the bottom of the transparent plate can engage the lower drive apparatus of the copier and be driven thereby over the picture-taking assembly.Type: GrantFiled: May 16, 1985Date of Patent: February 24, 1987Assignee: Mecilec S.A.Inventor: Jean-Claude Berger

Patent number: 4566809Abstract: A device and process for measuring infra-red radiation for determining the temperature of wires in lengthwise movement in front of a black background of a heated enclosure constituting a black body and emitting infra-red radiation, and comprising two infra-red-transparent convergent lenses for effecting two optical paths through two spaced windows of the enclosure, respectively; a plane mirror for directing the infra-red radiation resulting from each of said optical paths on an infra-red detector; a rotatable notched disc placed close by said lenses so that the obturation and opening of the lenses by the rotating disc produces a "diaphram effect".Type: GrantFiled: February 13, 1984Date of Patent: January 28, 1986Assignee: MecilecInventor: Robert Arnaud

Patent number: 4463343Abstract: In a method of converting an analog input signal to a digital output signal, an analog input voltage is compared with two reference magnitudes which are invariable during the comparing. Both reference magnitudes are derived from an analog signal provided in a previous comparison by adding and subtracting a fixed magnitude representing a quantization step. Both reference magnitudes are simultaneously varied by increments or decrements equal to the steps when the analog input voltage is equal to one or the other of the reference magnitudes. Upon each variation, a pulse is emitted having a plus sign or a minus sign according to whether the analog input voltage reaches one or the other of the reference magnitudes. The number of pulses emitted is algebraically totalled thereby providing a digital indication of the mangitude of the analog input voltage.Type: GrantFiled: October 15, 1981Date of Patent: July 31, 1984Assignee: MecilecInventor: Philippe Guillemot

Patent number: 4393713Abstract: The pressure-measuring device comprises a first chamber subjected to the pressure to be measured and a second chamber connected to the first through an opening fitted with a valve. The device further comprises a valve-control circuit and an element for detecting the instants at which the pressure difference between the two chambers attains a predetermined increment or decrement or a zero value. The detection element consists of a deformable pressure-tight wall placed between the two chambers and adapted to produce action on an optoelectronic, piezoelectric or electromechanical element which converts the deformation directly to logical signals. A bidirectional counter is provided for forward or backward counting of the increments and decrements obtained.Type: GrantFiled: March 9, 1981Date of Patent: July 19, 1983Assignee: MecilecInventor: Philippe Guillemot

Patent number: 4301685Abstract: A pressure-measuring device which operates in digital representation comprises:a first chamber subjected to the pressure to be measured;a second chamber subjected to a reference pressure and connected to the first chamber through at least one opening fitted with a valve;a device for measuring the difference both in magnitude and in sign between the pressures prevailing respectively within the first and second chambers, said device being intended to deliver an electrical signal which is a function of said difference;a circuit for detecting the instants at which said difference attains a predetermined increment +.DELTA.P or a predetermined decrement -.DELTA.P and for detecting instants at which said difference becomes zero;an element connected to said circuit for initiating the opening of the valve or valves when the difference attains the values .+-..DELTA.Type: GrantFiled: June 28, 1979Date of Patent: November 24, 1981Assignee: MecilecInventor: Philippe Guillemot
