Abstract: A medical database and system and method using same are provided. The medical database includes a data unit for storing modules representing medical records of subjects. Each module includes a plurality of module elements each representing a medically-relevant parameter of the subject with each element assigned a specific identifier in the module and a numerical value corresponding to the medically-relevant parameter.
Abstract: A system for drug interaction alerts and a method using same are provided. The system includes a computing platform configured for obtaining prescribing history for each of a drug A and a drug B and for drug A and drug B from medical records of a patient cohort. The system is further configured for determining a statistical probability for co-prescribing drug A and drug B versus a product of the statistical probability for prescribing drug A and the statistical probability for prescribing drug B, under different clinical contexts. This probability is then used to indicate a likelihood of drug interaction in a subject.
Abstract: A medical data system and method of using same are provided. The medical data system includes a computing platform for using patient-specific data from each of a plurality of patients at various time points to generate a multi-dimensional vector for each of the plurality of patients at each time point of the various time points, thereby providing a plurality of time-related multi-dimensional indices for each patient. The system further uses a multi-dimensional vector generated from data at time T1 of a subject to group the subject with a first cohort of patients and a multi-dimensional vector generated from data at time T2 of the subject to group the subject with a second cohort of patients.
