Patent number: 9095429Abstract: A medical device in cardiac surgery for replacement of the diseased native heart valves in humans increases thromboresistance of heart valve prosthesis. A heart valve prosthesis comprising an annular housing with the inner surface defining the blood flow I through the valve prosthesis and leaflets mounted within the annular housing with the possibility to pivot around the reference axis between an open position which allows the passage of the direct blood flow I, and a closed position which restricts the blood backflow II. Each leaflet has an upstream surface facing the direct blood surface I, a downstream surface facing the blood backflow II, a coaptation surface, and a side surface.Type: GrantFiled: July 21, 2009Date of Patent: August 4, 2015Assignee: MedEngInventors: Sergey Vasilyevich Evdokimov, Alexandr Sergeyevich Evdokimov, Eduard Yurievich Goncharov, Alexandr Nikolayevich Filippov

Patent number: 9023102Abstract: A medical device used in cardiac surgery for replacement of diseased heart valves in humans. A heart valve prosthesis comprising a housing 1 having a projection 3 along its whole perimeter 2, an occluder 4 which restricts the blood backflow (I), and a cuff 5 made of fabric and having a mounting surface 6which comes into contact with cardiac tissues (II), and an outer surface 7 which comes into contact with the blood flow. Inside the cuff 5 are located a stent 8 forming an opening 9 for installation of the prosthesis housing 1, a supporting element 10 and a retaining element 11 which fix the projection 3 of the housing 1 within the stent 8 of the cuff 5 forming a quick-dismountable junction of the housing 1 with the cuff 5.Type: GrantFiled: October 7, 2009Date of Patent: May 5, 2015Assignee: MedEngInventors: Sergey Vasilyevich Evdokimov, Alexandr Sergeyevich Evdokimov, Eduard Yurievich Goncharov, Alexandr Nikolayevich Filippov

Patent number: 7963172Abstract: A multiphase flowmeter, and a method of analyzing and measuring multiphase flow is described. The body of the multiphase flowmeter consists of the following components. It has a straight flow pipe in which two orifice plates a lodged near the extremities. At each of these two locations, a pressure differential transmitter measures the pressure drop that occurs as the fluid passes through the orifice plates. Along the length between the orifice plates, an ultrasound Doppler sensor measures the volume flow rate of the multiphase fluid, a pressure transmitter measures the in-pipe pressure and a temperature sensor measures the temperature. From the signals obtained from the above sensors, an overall analysis of the multiphase fluid flow is performed providing a complete set of flow measurement data for the mixture and for each of the three phases consisting of oil, water and gas.Type: GrantFiled: October 29, 2007Date of Patent: June 21, 2011Assignee: Shanghai Medeng Electronic Equipment Co.
