Abstract: The invention concerns a computer-implemented method, system and computer program for performing said method, for identifying potentially fraudulent entities in relation to electronic entity action based systems, associated with for example at least one client website 450. Said method comprises the following steps: providing information at data least concerning said entity's behaviour over time in relation to said at least one action based system by monitoring at least one entity induced event 120; and determining said at least one behaviour profile using behaviour classification algorithms to analyse said information in order to identify potentially fraudulent entities or in order to detect the interest of said entity. Accordingly, in a unique way, mathematical analysis may be utilized to process data concerning events in relation to electronic entity action based systems, which are recordable.

Abstract: A determination is made whether a purchase has been performed on a website for which a merchant and an acquirer have entered an agreement. At least one web-page associated with the website is equipped with at least one web-bug, which enables collection of information related to one or more customers visiting the website. If the web-page equipped with the web-bug is visited by a customer, a number of pieces of information from the web-bug relating to the customer are stored in a database. The number of pieces of information include a unique customer identifier and an identification of the web-page equipped with the web-bug visited by the customer. If a payment to an account associated with the website that includes the unique customer identifier is received from the merchant by the acquirer, then the stored number of pieces of information are retrieved from the database using the unique customer identifier as a key.
