The fluid ducting assembly includes a base having a first member, a second member, and a third member for connection to and providing flow communication with the syringe, the vessel and the dispenser, respectively. The fluid ducting assembly further includes a flow controller within the base enabling any one of a flow path between the first member and the second member and a flow path between the first member and the third member. The flow controller has either a first operative position in which the flow path between the first member and the second member is enabled or a second operative position in which the flow path between the first member and the third member is enabled.

Abstract: A fluid transfer and mixing device for use in the aseptic intermixing of a powder component with a fluid component. The device is of a simple, compact construction that includes a first adapter that can be easily connected to a container containing the powder component and a second adapter that can be removably interconnected with the first adapter and can also be readily connected to a container containing a fluid such as a diluent so as to permit aseptic intermixing of the diluent with the powder. In use a conventional needleless syringe can be easily connected to the first adapter so that the mixture of the powder and diluent can be aseptically aspirated from the first container for subsequent delivery to the patient.

The fluid control device includes a first port (13), a second port (12) for receiving the syringe, a third port (17) including an adaptor (20) having a fluid conduit member (24) extending into the interior of the medicinal vessel (28) when attached thereto and a flow control member (20′) selectively disposable from a first flow control position enabling a flow path between a first pair of two ports (12, 17) and second flow control position enabling a flow path between a second pair of two ports (12, 13). Abstract: An apparatus for moving fluid from a first location to a second location comprises a housing containing a pump body having a central passageway with a fluid inlet and first and second fluid outlets in communication with the passageway. A shuttle having first and second fluid chambers is movable within the passageway of the body between first and second positions. First, second, third, and fourth generally annular shaped fluid passageways provided in the shuttle permit selective fluid communication between the first and second fluid chambers of the shuttle and the inlet and outlet ports of the pump body. First and second inlet passageways provided in the shuttle permits selective fluid communication between the inlet of the pump body and the first and second fluid chambers of the shuttle. A piston is reciprocally movable within the shuttle chambers by a uniquely configured operating mechanism, such as a cam ring.
