Patents Assigned to Medisens Wireless, Inc.
  • Patent number: 11617537
Abstract: A fabric-based pressure sensor array includes: (1) a first layer including M elongated conductive strips coated thereon; (2) a second layer including N elongated conductive strips coated thereon, the M elongated conductive strips extending crosswise relative to the N elongated conductive strips to define M×N intersections; and (3) a unitary textile sheet extending between the first layer and the second layer so as to overlap the M×N intersections, the textile sheet having a variable resistivity in response to applied pressure so as to define M×N pressure sensors at locations corresponding to the M×N intersections.

  • Publication number: 20150168238
Abstract: The present invention is systems and methods using an array of pressure based sensors to monitor biometric information in a human patient. Data assembled and analyzed form the pressure sensor array can be compared to reference data to analyze a variety of parameters including posture, position, movement, both at individual points and over time. The assembled data is correlated to behavior, or the presence, progression, or recovery relative to a disease state. Analytical methods are disclosed for processing absolute and relative position, time, and physical data from the pressure sensor array. The sensor may be creating single plane sensor, with arbitrary layers of pressure sensitive material. These sensor configurations can be used for a variety of end uses, such as pressure sensors, moisture sensors, temperature sensors, and any kind of flexible or rigid array of one or more sensors.

  • Patent number: 7726206
Abstract: This invention relates to a system that continuously monitors pressure and force on the foot, analyzes and visualizes the pressure and force exerted on said foot in real-time. The invention measures pressure and force applied to a plurality of sensors placed in various points of an orthotic, shoe, shoe lining, insert, sock or sock type device. If the sensors detect pressure or force, the sensors send a signal to a microcomputer processor located in the shoe that subsequently analyzes and sends the data wireless to either a handheld electronic device, a personal computer, an electronic data capture system or a software program. The handheld electronic device or the personal computer then displays the data to an operator of the device or computer instantaneously; while the data capture system or program forwards the information to a handheld device and/or personal computer.
