    Abstract: A system for obtaining patient medical information from a currently treating physician to a hospital admitting physician. A physician wishing to admit a patient dials a phone number, enters relevant patient medical data, and then leaves a recording describing the patient's condition. This recording is then stored in a database where it can be played back through an electronic medical record. The recording is also sent directly to the admitting physician's cell phone who can then tend to the patient as needed.
