    Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions in the spine. In one variation, the method comprises measuring a first signal from a device positioned at or near a body part of a subject to determine a baseline signal, modifying a physiological condition of the body part, measuring a second signal from the device, and comparing the second signal to the first signal to determine whether a treatment is needed for the body part.
