Abstract: A bone plate includes a plate body portion extending in a lengthwise direction, a head portion extending from one end portion in the lengthwise direction of the plate body portion, and tabs provided on the outer side of an outer peripheral portion of the head portion. The tabs comprise first-type tabs and side by side with each other, and a second-type tab located on one outside of the first-type tabs. The first-type tabs respectively include first connecting portions that are bendable and have a cross-sectional area in a widthwise cross section that is smaller than the cross-sectional area of the outer shape of the first tab body portions. The second-type tab includes a second connecting portion that is bendable and twistable and has a smaller cross-sectional area in a widthwise cross section than the first connecting portions.

  • Patent number: 11653965
Abstract: A bone plate bending tool includes a substantially rod-shaped first member having a first sandwiching surface, a substantially rod-shaped second member slidable along a side part of the first member and having a second sandwiching surface, and a connection tubular member connected to the second member and enclosing a peripheral surface of the first member. A projection on one of the sandwiching surfaces is insertable into a through-hole of the bone plate and does not prevent the bone plate from being sandwiched between the sandwiching surfaces. The connection tubular member is axially movable on the peripheral surface of the first member while the second member is disposed on the first member's side part. The connecting tubular member that has moved axially forward restricts expansion between the sandwiching surfaces. The sandwiching surfaces, together with the forward-moved connecting tubular member, sandwich and immovably hold a peripheral edge of the bone plate through-hole.

  • Patent number: 8137400
Abstract: A fixing tool used in a ligament reconstruction operation includes a fixing member having a main body part provided with a through-hole and two spike parts which can be stricken into the bone and a fixing screw. The fixing screw includes a shaft part having a self-tap portion and a male screw portion, a head part, and a lumen. The fixing screw can be screwed into the bone plug in a state where a guide pin pierced into the bone plug penetrates the lumen of the fixing screw and a pulling member mounted to the bone plug and extended from the bone tunnel is being pulled. The fixing screw can adjust a tensile force of the tendon graft by adjusting the amount of screwing of the fixing screw into the bone plug after the head part of the fixing screw contacts the fixing member.
