  • Patent number: 4590641
Abstract: Crosslink hinge for mounting a door on the carcass of a cabinet. The door-related part of the crosslink hinge can be affixed in a recess in the door and is composed of an attaching member and a link holder disposed in the attaching member. To vary the position of the door, the link holder is displaceable at right angles to the pivot axis of the hinge and parallel to the door back and can be fixed in the desired position. The carcass-related part of the hinge has on its bottom an inverted-T-shaped projection which can be inserted into a complementary T-shaped socket in its mounting plate. A set screw is threaded into the mounting plate to fix the carcass-related hinge part thereon.

  • Patent number: 4470169
Abstract: An articulated hinge for pivotally connecting a door flap to the carcass of a piece of furniture which has spaced carcass walls and a frame facing the door and extending essentially at right angles to the carcass walls and confining a free door opening, while the door flap in closed position partially overlaps the frame. The hinge has a carcass-related part connected to the edge surface of the frame offset inwardly relative to the adjacent carcass wall, and a door-related part connected to the door flap and pivotally connected to the carcass-related part via a link mechanism. The door-related part is in the form of an insert cup with a connecting part fittingly inserted into a recess in the backside of the door flap, and a link carrier part which has a portion interlocking with the connecting part.

  • Patent number: 4397064
Abstract: A hinge for pivotally mounting a door leaf on a cabinet with a box-like carcass having one open side, narrowed by a frame formed by strip-like frame members projecting each at right angles from a carcass wall toward an opposite carcass wall. The hinge has a door-leaf-related hinge part fastenable sunkenly in the back of the door leaf and, a frame-related hinge part which is pivotingly coupled by a link mechanism with the door-related hinge part. The frame-related part has a mounting piece fitted and mounted into the frame member recess and a block jointed by the link mechanism to the door-leaf-related hinge part and displaceably disposed in this recess parallel to the front side of the frame and at right angles to the end face of the corresponding frame member. The block is joined to the mounting part by a screw element whose threaded shank is in engagement with a counter-thread in the block and is held in the mounting piece rotatably but undisplaceably in the longitudinal direction of the shank.

  • Patent number: 4290167
Abstract: An articulated hinge for the pivotal connection of a door leaf to the carcass of a furniture piece from whose carcass wall a frame protrudes at right angles, which frame has an end face delimiting an unobstructed door opening. The hinge has a door-related mounting part pivotally connected via a link mechanism with a carcass-related mounting part which comprises a flange plate which holds the linkage mechanism and which is detachably connectable to the end face of the frame. Below the bottom side of the flange plate facing the frame end face there is an adjustment plate which is displaceable by a predetermined measure relative to the flange plate in the longitudinal direction of the frame end face.

  • Patent number: 4207652
Abstract: A mounting element for the adjustable fastening of an elongated supporting arm which is the carcass-related part of an articulated hinge, for the pivoting articulation of a door leaf or flap on the carcass of a furniture piece whose carcass bears on its open front facing the door leaf or flap a frame projecting inwardly from the carcass walls. The carcass frame has adjacent each of the mounting elements to be fastened to it, a recess open towards its inner frame edge, in which the mounting element is disposed, and the mounting element has a mounting plate, which is made in one piece with a mounting body which can be inserted matingly into the frame recess and can be fastened to the frame.
