Abstract: A method for checking the suitability of a target trajectory for trajectory control of a vehicle. The target trajectory contains route information about the path of a route to be driven and momentum information about the momentum with which the route should be driven. The target trajectory is assessed as suitable for the trajectory control if the target traction and target tractive power are below a predetermined characteristic traction curve or characteristic tractive power curve, the target steering power is below a predetermined power limit of the steering, and the horizontal target tire forces on each wheel are within the friction value limits determined by the friction value. Otherwise, the target trajectory is assessed to be unsuitable.

  • Patent number: 12263721
Abstract: A device for improving an interior air quality in a vehicle includes a photoreactor and a control device. The photoreactor is connectable, by a photoreactor line section, between a fresh air intake and an air distribution system of a ventilation system and/or air conditioning system of the vehicle. The photoreactor line section has a controllable valve in each of the two end regions, i.e., at the respective points at which it is connectable on the one hand to the fresh air intake and on the other hand to the air distribution system. The photoreactor has UV-C LEDs that emit UV-C radiation. The control device controls the air passing through the photoreactor using the controllable valves arranged in the photoreactor line section in such a way that the air passing through is exposed to a predetermined UV-C radiation dose.

  • Patent number: 12246720
Abstract: A method for supporting a vehicle, driving in the automated driving mode, in a merging maneuver from an acceleration lane into a traffic lane of a multi-lane roadway section is provided. The vehicle is connected to a central computer unit via a radio link. The merging maneuver intended by the vehicle is transmitted to the central computer unit via the radio link. Information about the intended merging maneuver of the vehicle is transmitted from the central computer unit to at least two further vehicles located on the roadway section in an environment of the vehicle. Consequently, a merging gap is prepared for the vehicle in the traffic lane by means of one of the two further vehicles. A lane change of road users from an overtaking lane into the merging gap in the traffic lane is prevented by another of the two further vehicles.
