Patents Assigned to Mero-Raumstruktur GmbH & Co. Wurzburg
  • Patent number: 5483780
Abstract: In order to render more economical ceiling latticeworks constituted by bars and joint-fittings, the pillars and joint-fittings 14 evince an identical cross-sectional contour with longitudinal flutings, for instance a contour in the shape of a cross. Thereby, the pillars can be substituted for the joint-fittings 14 in the pillars' connection zone. The chord bars 12 of the ceiling lattice are hollow, cross-sectionally rectangular sections and are connected by clamping locks each comprising two clamping jaws 19, engaging and being clamped in flutings 24 of the joint-fittings 14 or pillars.

  • Patent number: 4475841
Abstract: An intersection joint for wooden members of trusses, particularly in spaceframes, with fixing elements for thread bolts attached on the ends of the wooden members, which are screwed into tapholes of joint elements. The fixing elements are configured as profile parts of one piece (at least in their attachment areas,) and secured into corresponding cutouts in the head ends of the wooden members.

  • Patent number: 4455803
Abstract: Apparatus for the sealing of flat roof elements or the like which are supported at their corners, comprising a bowl-shaped part disposed on the outside edge of the roof elements in the area of the top edges thereof, the bowl-shaped part running substantially parallel to these edges. A sealing tape is placed in the bowl-shaped part, and a cover rail having arms bent downwardly at an angle is provided for engagement with any two adjacent roof elements in the bowl-shaped part. The cover rail serves to press the sealing tape by means of screws which are inserted between the cover rail and the adjacent roof elements beneath the rail.

  • Patent number: 4444523
Abstract: A device for connecting plates and/or rods of the light construction type made of wood, plastic or the like, with junction pieces having a plurality of threaded holes whose axes intersect at the center of each junction piece. Tap bolts are disposed in the area of the plate corners and/or the rod extremities so they can rotate and slide axially in the planes of the plates and/or along the axes of the rods, which can be screwed into the threaded holes of the junction pieces. The tap bolts are mounted in dowel-like shells which have at their outer ends an abutment for each tap bolt. The shells are pressed and/or glued into boreholes in the area of the plate corners and/or extremities of the rods. A drive-collar is mounted on the shank portion of the tap bolts protruding from the shells.

  • Patent number: 4193706
Abstract: A bolt connection between tubular rods and junctions in three-dimensional frameworks wherein the tubular rods are of constant diameter along their entire length and it continues the same beyond the hook-up parts at the tubular rod ends as far as those ends of the hook-up parts which are assembled each with one drive sleeve, and the smallest outside diameter of the drive sleeves being equal to or exceeding that of the tubular rods and of the hook-up parts.
