Abstract: A network node and a method for controlling a wireless network are disclosed, wherein the network node includes a receiving device configured co receive data packets from one or more other network nodes of a plurality of network nodes; one or more processors configured to determine two or more network nodes of the plurality of network nodes to which the network node may forward data packets such that a number of the determined two or more network nodes is greater than a predefined first threshold value; and a transmitting device configured to forward the received data packets to the determined two or more network nodes of the plurality of network nodes.
