    Abstract: A landing gear for an aerodyne which is raised towards the rear of the aerodyne, including a structural member with a shock absorber for each undercarriage and connected to at least one wheel, and at least one truss actuating jack operative to employ aerodynamic forces opposing the lowering of the undercarriages to aid in the locking of the truss actuating jack and thus the undercarriages in the landing gear down position.
