Patents Assigned to Messwandler-Bau GmbH
  • Patent number: 4311979
Abstract: A transformer winding, made as a layered winding with striplike conductor insulated with at least one strip of insulation folded about the conductor, and a process for making the same, are disclosed. To make possible a fully automatic manufacture of the winding with sufficient mechanical strength and uniform impregnation, the insulation strip, in addition to insulation of the conductor, constitutes likewise the insulation of the layers. At the periphery of a winding layer there are punctate bonding places at predetermined distances only on the outside of the conductor insulation. The cross section of the layered winding may be essentially trapezoidal with the transition to the free outer end comprising one or more circular arcs with different radii.

  • Patent number: 4156221
Abstract: A coupling transformer for networks with superimposed audio frequency voltage, especially for ripple control systems, with primary and secondary windings rigidly coupled with each other and arranged about an iron core; the primary and secondary windings surround one another coaxially and are separated and insulated from one another by a cast resin insulation, whereby only one of the two windings is embedded in the cast resin insulation while the other, freely accessible winding coaxially surrounds the iron core constructed as rod-type core under formation of at least one cooling channel; an electric shield is additionally provided between the two windings.

  • Patent number: 4031459
Abstract: An inductive voltage transformer for a high-voltage metal-clad switch-gear installation fully insulated by means of an insulating gas, which includes a pressure vessel flangedly connected to the metallic capsule of the switch-gear installation and has a high-voltage winding constructed as layer winding which is surrounded by the high-voltage electrode; the insulating gas disposed within the pressure vessel thereby forms the high-voltage insulation while the high voltage electrode is drawn axially over the winding end faces of at least a portion of the layer winding; the central portion of the high-voltage electrode surrounding the winding cross section of the layer winding as well as the edge portions thereof axially drawn beyond the layer winding are thereby so curved that the outer surfaces thereof form together with the adjacent cylindrical wall portions of the pressure vessel at least approximately a Rogowski-profile projected on a cylindrical area.

  • Patent number: 3959761
Abstract: A single-conductor current transformer adapted to be installed into a fully insulated, metal-encapsulated high-voltage switching installation, whose cores and secondary windings are protected on all sides by a casing of electrically insulating material designed to provide an insulation for low voltage; the high voltage insulation is constituted by the insulating gas on the inside of the encapsulation of the high-voltage switching installation whereby the insulating casing forms the pressure housing for the insulating gas itself and is adapted to be secured with its end faces at the connecting flanges of the metal encapsulation of the high-voltage switching installation; metallic pipes are cast into the insulating casing within the outer edge area of the insulating casing for the return-conduction of the current, into which are adapted to be inserted connecting bolts for purposes of connection with the connecting flanges of the metal encapsulation.
