A catch member is coupled to the door frame. A latch includes a base member, a bolt, and a lever portion. A first vertical wire and a second vertical wire of the door are spaced from one another such that the first vertical wire is at a first end of the door and the second vertical wire is at a second end of the door. In the closed position, the bolt is coupled to the first vertical wire.

Abstract: A crate assembly includes a plurality of members defining an interior of the crate assembly, where the plurality of members includes a front, a back, a top, a bottom, a first side and a second side. A frame is formed in one of the plurality of members, the frame having a plurality of interconnected horizontal and vertical wires that define a door opening. A door is pivotally coupled to the frame about a pivot wire of the frame to move between an open position and a closed position. A latch assembly is pivotally coupled to a horizontal wire of the frame. The latch assembly includes a wire having a first end, a second end and a transverse portion, the wire forming a first portion defined between the first end and the transverse portion and a second portion defined between the second end and the transverse portion.

Abstract: An animal bed for supporting an animal includes a body having a bottom member and a bolster forming an outer wall of the body. The outer wall is positioned about a perimeter of the bottom member and extends outwardly therefrom to define a recessed area for accommodating the animal. A plurality of straps is coupled to and extending at least partially across the bottom member opposite the recessed area. Each of the plurality of straps includes a degree of elasticity configured to hold a rigid member in contact with the bottom member.

A latch assembly has a handle structure and a pin. The handle structure is pivotable with respect to one of the door and the frame, and the pin is movable axially with respect to one of the door and the frame. A first wire of the plurality of wires of the frame forms a key hole assembly. The key hole assembly defines an aperture for receiving the pin when the door is in a latched position with respect to the frame. A tab assembly is formed by at least one wire of the door and is disposable behind at least one of the plurality of wires of the frame in the closed position.

Abstract: A divider panel assembly for being assembled within an interior of an animal enclosure includes a body defined by a plurality of interconnecting horizontal and vertical wires, the body including a height and width defined by a top horizontal wire, a bottom horizontal wire, a first vertical wire and a second vertical wire. A hook end is formed by at least one of the plurality of horizontal or vertical wires of the body, the hook end configured to engage with the animal enclosure. A clip is rotatably coupled to the first vertical wire or the second vertical wire, where the clip includes a first defined opening for receiving the first or second vertical wire and a second opening configured for receiving a wire of the animal enclosure.

Embodiments can include tracks for holding studs which incorporate various geometries capable of receiving fire-retardant material, flat straps for use between tracks and fluted wall components, fire sponges for use in fluted wall components, and tracks with protruding grooves or other structures which prevent unwanted air movement between a wallboard component and the track.

The foil lining and/or the intumescent material can be positioned within the air gap. A planar lower portion of the first layer of the elongate body is positioned between a header track and a wallboard in the fire-rated joint. A non-planar upper portion of the first layer of the elongate body is positioned at least partially within a deflection gap of the wall assembly and sealingly engages the ceiling.

Abstract: An improved flute plug for a head-of-wall assembly for fire rated wall construction beneath a fluted deck or ceiling. The improved flute plug can be friction fit within individual flute voids that run over the top of the header track. The improved flute plug can include a single piece pre-bent steel profile with fire stopping material attached thereto or contained therein. The fire stopping material can be oversized so that it will compress into the flute void over the top of the header track. The compressed fire stopping material can provide a seal against fire, smoke and/or noise through the fluted deck voids.

Abstract: Fire block devices for application to a wall component, a wall component with a fire block device and wall assemblies including the same. The fire-block device can be a wall component that includes a fire-resistant material strip that expands in response to sufficient heat to create a fire-resistant barrier. In some applications, the fire-block wall component is positioned to extend lengthwise along and across a gap between wallboard members. The fire-block wall component may have a central portion and a pair of side portions extending in opposite directions from the central portion. The fire-resistant material may be positioned on the central portion of the fire-block device. The central portion may be positioned within the gap such that the fire-resistant material expands in response to sufficient heat to create a fire-resistant barrier.
