  • Patent number: 10202743
Abstract: An adaptor for attaching a tooth to the arm of a cutter head. The adaptor having a rear coupling end and a front coupling end with a main cavity. The main cavity has a first upper surface, a first lower surface and two joining side surfaces. Each side surface has a side groove with a second upper surface parallel to a second lower surface. The second upper surface is approximately parallel to a lower segment adjacent to the bottom end on the first lower surface and the second lower surface of the side grooves is approximately parallel to an upper segment adjacent to the bottom end on the first upper surface. A distance between the second upper surface and the second lower surface of each groove is smaller than a distance between the upper segment and the lower segment of the main cavity.

  • Publication number: 20190024349
Abstract: The present invention relates to a female part, a retaining device and a pin system comprising said device, said female part and a male part, to assure the retention between the female part and a male part used in excavators and the like. The female part has a cavity and can be a wearing element, a tooth or an intermediate part (part between a point and a weld on or cast nose in a three part system) and the male part has a nose to be introduced into the cavity of the female part and this will usually be a tooth-holder, intermediate, cast nose, weld-on nose or an adapter.

  • Publication number: 20180245318
Abstract: The tooth and adaptor for dredging machines. The tooth, attached to an adaptor, creates an assembly to deepen and clean the beds of ports, rivers, channels, etc., removing therefrom sludge, stones, sand, etc. The adaptor when attached to the blades forms the cutter head of the dredging machine. The constructive features of the coupling between the tooth and the adaptor allow improved stability between both elements, among other advantages.

  • Patent number: 10024035
Abstract: A tooth for attachment to a cutter head arm. The tooth has a front wear part and a rear coupling part, the rear coupling part having a main body with a rear free end and a forward end. The main body has a first upper surface, a first lower surface and two side surfaces joining both upper and lower surfaces, with the distance between the first upper surface and first lower surface decreasing towards the rear free end, side projections, and upper and lower segments. Each side surface has a side projection with a second upper surface parallel to a second lower surface, the second upper surface approximately parallel to a lower segment, and the second lower surface approximately parallel to an upper segment. The distance between the second upper surface and the second lower surfaces is smaller than the distance between the upper segment and the lower segment.

  • Patent number: 9932723
Abstract: Locking devices and components for wear assemblies for securing a wear part to the blade or lip of an excavator. The wear part will usually be a tooth adaptor, and when placed on the blade both parts determine a channel where the locking device is placed. The locking device will usually include a C-clamp member for mounting in the rearward of the channel, a front structure to engage to the frontward of the channel and a wedge structure placed between the C-clamp member and the front structure.

  • Patent number: 9822511
Abstract: A wear assembly of an earth-moving machine's bucket comprises a male part and a female part both of which comprises a nose (male part) or cavity (female part) with an upper contact surface and a lower contact surface. The upper contact surface comprises an upper front contact portion that extends backward from the tip of the nose or the bottom of the cavity and the lower contact surface comprises a lower front contact portion that extends likewise, one of the upper and lower front contact portions being concave and the other being convex. Analogously, the upper contact surface comprises an upper back contact portion that extends forward from the base of the nose or the mouth of the cavity, and the lower contact surface comprises a lower back contact portion that extends likewise, one of the upper and lower back contact portions being concave and the other being convex.
