Abstract: A truck assembly for a skate-like device includes a truck support having a mounting plate and a mounting bracket extending angularly outward therefrom. A truck is pivotally mounted to the mounting bracket so as to define an axis of rotation at an acute angle to the mounting plate. Resilient means are positioned along the axis of rotation in engagement with the truck so as to resist rotation of the truck relative to the truck support. An adjustment pin extends through this assembly so as to increase or decrease the pressure of the engagement of the resilient means to the truck. In the preferred embodiment, the means comprise a cam insert and a cam follower in which the cam insert is keyed to the truck and the cam follower moves in a direction along the axis of rotation and against a resilient pad.
