Abstract: In order to easily permit functionally correct mounting of a sealing strip (3) which is intended for use on the frame structure of a vehicle opening, a sealing arrangement is proposed which is composed of an attachment section (4) and a sealing section (5), wherein aids are provided which are intended for carrying out uniquely determined positioning on a section (2) of the aforesaid frame structure. These aids are a groove (7) which is configured to receive a frame part of the frame structure and which extends along the entire length of the sealing strip (3) and whose maximum insertion depth signals the precise positioning of the sealing strip on the aforesaid frame part. These aids can also be a bead (15) which is integrally formed on the attachment section (4) and which performs the function of a spacing element in relation to a stop surface of the aforesaid frame structure and is connected to the attachment section in a releasable, in particular tear-off connection.

Abstract: A sealing strip is intended to seal a gap between two parts which are movable relative to each other. The sealing strip has a surface which is intended to adhere to one of the two parts and which has an adhesive layer. Before it is adhered to the one part, the adhesive layer is covered with a cover sheet. In order to make it easier to remove the cover sheet from the adhesive layer a pull-thread is provided which passes through the cover sheet and has at least one free end that protrudes from the sealing strip.

Abstract: A sealing profile intended to seal a gap between the outer boundary of a motor vehicle door and its allocated opening of a motor vehicle construction comprises a tube-like construction that consists of at least two tubular profiles (4, 5) that are disposed one inside the other. The two tubular profiles are produced for example during co-extrusion and are formed in terms of construction and material with the proviso that the inner tubular profile (5) provides a resilient restoring force whereas the outer tubular profile (4) is chosen with regard to its surface properties, in particular the provision of a sealing function, which requires adaptation to dimensional inaccuracies and inequalities in the region of the boundary surfaces defining the sealing gap. An adhesive region (2) that is intended to connect to the one of the two boundaries is applied to the sealing profile. For example, the inner tubular profile can consist of silicone and the outer tubular profile can consist of sponge rubber or soft rubber.

Abstract: A profiled seal for sealing a side window that can be raised and lowered relatively to a roof frame of an automobile is disclosed. The seal includes a support rail co-extruded with an elongated elastomeric strip. Retaining elements are attached to the support rail and are positioned in spaced relation to one another. The retaining elements have slotted bases and are attached to the support rail using rivets received within the slots. The slots are oriented lengthwise parallel to the support rail and allow the retaining elements to be positionally adjusted. The retaining elements project outwardly from the support rail and are adapted to engage the roof frame for attachment of the profiled seal thereto.

Abstract: A sealing profile serves to seal a casing with respect to a cover disk of a lamp. The sealing profile is inserted into a groove on the casing having a groove base. The sealing profile has a seal section which includes lateral contact surfaces and interacts with the cover disk, a connection section and a foot section which is provided with lateral retaining lips and a retaining groove. The foot section has a strip which interacts sealingly with the groove base. When the sealing profile is in the relaxed state, the strip is disposed entirely within the retaining groove. When inserting the sealing profile into the groove the retaining lips are pivoted towards and pressed against the ribs of the lateral surfaces of the connection section, wherein the strip is pressed with a portion of its cross-sectional surface out of the retaining groove into contact with the base.

Abstract: A sealing profile having a profile base for attachment by insertion into a receiving orifice of a bodywork part and has a sealing portion which is attached to the profile base. The profile base is provided with a structural part and a holding limb which is formed as one piece therewith. The holding limb is formed for the purpose of engaging behind a first projection of the bodywork part and is formed so as to be able to fold in a resilient manner in the direction of the structural part. The profile base includes a holding surface which faces away from the holding limb and opposite which lies an edge of a fabric top. A locking strip is attached to the edge and in the assembled state is disposed inside the receiving orifice.

Abstract: Shaped elastomer portions are to be produced on an elastomer seal. For that purpose the shaped elastomer portions are provided with a thermoplastic layer, preferably by co-extrusion. The thermoplastic layer is converted into a molten state by heating. The shaped elastomer portions are then pressed against oppositely disposed regions of the elastomer seal and cooled until the thermoplastic layer has hardened again and a fixed bond has occurred on the one hand in relation to the shaped elastomer portions and on the other hand to the elastomer seal.

Abstract: A cellular rubber profile for the sealing of two components which cooperate with one another is disclosed. The profile has a black base structure and a non-black overlay structure which is co-extruded with the base structure. The overlay structure overlies the base structure in the manner of a cap. Opposite the overlay structure the profile has a foot portion with lateral protuberances.

Abstract: The profiled seal which is provided to produce a sealing arrangement between a vertically sliding window pane and a roof frame of a cabriolet comprises a metal carrier rail and a length of profiled elastomer co-extruded with the carrier rail. The profiled seal has a three-dimensional shape and can be attached to connection parts of the roof frame by attachment elements. At least two assembly regions of the carrier rail which protrude out of the length of profiled elastomer transversely to the longitudinal direction and cooperate with the attachment elements are provided disposed in the longitudinal direction of the profiled seal at a mutually spaced disposition.

Abstract: A profiled seal for sealing between a vertically sliding window pane and a roof frame of a convertible automobile comprises a length of profiled elastomer which is co- extruded with a metal reinforcement. The profiled seal has a three-dimensional shape and can be fixed to connection parts of the roof frame. A holding section having a U-shaped cross-section is part of the length of profiled elastomer and contains the embedded reinforcement which is likewise U-shaped in cross-section. A sealing section is formed laterally as one on a first limb of the holding section which can be placed in a self-clamping and sealing manner on an attachment flange. A foot formed as one on the first limb comprises on a first longitudinal edge adjacent to a free longitudinal edge of the first limb a longitudinal groove into which a dimensionally stable edge flange of a roof of the convertible engages.

Abstract: A movable window unit having a window glass which can be moved between a closed end position in a well of a door and an open end position by a motorized drive. The motorized drive comprises an electric motor which is controlled by a motor control. To reduce undesirable noises which may arise during the movement of the window glass, the motor is operated by the motor control to repeatedly vary the speed of displacement of the window glass.
