The plurality of call recipients are permitted to bid against one another for providing goods and/or services to a customer. A contact list is created and call recipients are ranked from a lowest bidding call recipient to a highest bidding call recipient. The contact is received from a customer and routed to the lowest bidding call recipient on the contact list. The call recipient account receiving the contact and fulfilling the transaction is credited an amount bid by the call recipient.

Abstract: A system for processing and funding short-term loans to a mobile credit storage facility account, including providing currency exchange services to the mobile credit storage facility account. Loan types include short-term loans, payday loans, micro credit loans, mobile telecommunication carrier top-off loans and overdraft loans. Loans may be based on an applicant's loan application, history of employment or mobile money creditworthiness including mobile money historical transactions and mobile phone company records. Loan funds may be deposited directly to the consumer's account that is associated with his/her mobile device. They may also be automatically debited for various payments. The consumer's mobile device telephone or IMEI number is used as a unique identifier to established and analyze a credit history and to facilitate the mobile money transactions.

The request is authenticated via the telephone number associated with the account. A reputation report is then sent to a subscriber in response to an authenticated request. In return, transaction information between the subscriber and entity is associated with the account in the electronic database. The reputation score for the account is calculated in real-time based on the transaction information stored in the electronic database.

Abstract: The process for facilitating a telephone-based search includes accepting a telephone inquiry, receiving search criteria through the telephone inquiry and searching an electronic database for information relevant to the search criteria. A portion of the search criteria may be received from a software application installed on a telephone. Such search criteria may include a keyword or a category. Next, a search result relating to the search criteria is conveyed in response to the search inquiry. The search result should include a searchable category, a third party or a list of selectable third parties. Accordingly, the telephone inquiry is routed to a third party associated with the search result.

Abstract: The process for streaming media data in a peer-to-peer (P2P) network includes the step of submitting a request through the P2P network to play a time segment of a media file. A local computer is connected through the P2P network to a streaming computer having the desired time segment. Thereafter, an initial data byte is located in the time segment via a conversion table associated with the media file. The time segment is streamed from the streaming computer to the local computer starting with the initial data byte. The time segment is stored on the local computer for playback through a corresponding media player.

Abstract: A method of outsourcing everyday tasks is provided. The method includes the steps of posting a task request with detailed information concerning the services to be performed. Service providers are able to bid on the posted tasks, wherein the service providers may include a bid amount and description of the quality of service to be performed. Thereafter the consumer selects a specific service provider to accomplish the posted task. The method further facilitates completing the monetary transaction via an electronic escrow account operated by and accessible only by a third party. Moreover, a database aggregates user information as part of a detailed feedback system to alleviate fraud or poor quality of service.
