  • Patent number: 11866266
Abstract: A return roller is pivotally supported in a frame-fixed articulation region (20, 21) of a belt conveyor device having a transport belt. A pivot arm (30, 31) extends in a running direction (L) of the transport belt, orthogonal to a longitudinal axis (12) of the return roller, supporting it about the longitudinal axis. A pivot element (40) is spaced apart from the return roller in the running direction. A pivot bearing (22, 23) is arranged on the articulation region for mounting the pivot element for a pivoting movement of the pivot arm around a pivot axis between an operating position and an nonoperating position of the return roller. A bearing surface (24, 25), in a section perpendicular to the pivot axis, is formed as an open arc, with an opening (26, 27) having a center angle (?) of less than 180°.

  • Patent number: 11370618
Abstract: A conveyor belt unit (100) has a configuration-changing mechanism useful for switching between a ready-to-operate configuration and a not-ready-to-operate configuration. A specific embodiment uses a rotating joint element (150) with a thin material bridge (152) that defines a rotary axis. Used with a dynamic checkweigher, the conveyor belt unit has a carrier frame (110) and a belt body (130) connected to it. Rollers (132, 134) are arranged at the ends in transport direction (T) and contrary to the transport direction, with a conveyor belt (136) tensioned across the conveyor rollers. A motor drives the conveyor belt (136) by means of one of the rollers (132, 134). The configuration-changing mechanism is effective between the belt body and the carrier frame.

  • Patent number: 11214440
Abstract: A receiving bin for a sorting machine is movable between an operative configuration and an inoperative configuration. In the operative configuration, the receiving bin is configurable for receiving a rejected product from the sorting machine. In an inoperative configuration, the receiving bin is configurable for servicing and maintenance. The receiving bin has an inlet chute, a transfer chute, and, optionally, a mechanism of altering the configuration connects the inlet chute and the transfer chute. In one arrangement, the inlet chute and the transfer chute are sufficiently exposed to a waterjet during a cleaning event, for maintaining aseptic conditions and a hygienic environment. This is especially useful the sorting machine is commissioned in a production plant where food items such as meat, fish, or dairy products are processed and packaged.

  • Patent number: 9278810
Abstract: A frame (1, 101, 201) supports a conveyor belt system with a longitudinally circulating conveyor belt. Two plate-like carrier elements (2, 102), with principal planes extending at right angles to the longitudinal direction (L) are joined by at least two distance elements (4, 4?), disposed parallel to the longitudinal direction (L). The distance elements space the two carrier elements apart. A plurality of support elements (5) and machine feet (21) support the frame on the ground. At least one of the carrier elements defines a seating area (3), which is largely arranged horizontally. At least two first mechanical interface elements (6) run parallel to the distance elements, preferably extending over the carrier elements, and are fixed on the seating areas of the carrier elements. The frame also has at least two fixing elements (7), by which the first mechanical interface elements (6) are fixed to the seating areas.
