Patents Assigned to MEYER UTILITY STRUCTURES LLC
  • Patent number: 11668426
Abstract: A helical strake pole system that includes a tubular pole having a longitudinal axis and threaded attachment points. The system further includes a helical strake fin disposed circumferentially around a portion of the tubular pole along the longitudinal axis. The system further includes couplers disposed on the tubular pole. The couplers are configured such that each coupler has a first portion with a slot configured to receive an upper portion of the helical strake fin and a second portion configured to removably coupled to a threaded attachment point of the tubular pole. In addition, each coupler is configured to position a portion of the helical strake fin substantially perpendicular to a surface of the tubular pole.

  • Patent number: 11408175
Abstract: A device that includes pier caps. Each pier cap is configured to couple to a pole that is at least partially embedded below a surface of a ground. The device further includes threaded rods coupled with the pier caps. The device further includes an assembly frame that includes a base plate and coupling arms. The base plate includes a first plurality of openings that are configured to interface with a structure that is installed onto the base plate. The first plurality of openings are configured to allow a position of the structure to be adjusted radially about the base plate. Each coupling arm includes a second plurality of openings that are configured to allow a position of the assembly frame to be adjusted along a horizontal plane. Each coupling arm is coupled to a threaded rod and a position for each coupling arm is adjustable vertically along the threaded rod.

  • Patent number: 9945145
Abstract: An embedded pole installation method including applying a rotational force to a leading pole and an intermediate pole. The leading pole comprises a first helical plate disposed on a first portion of the leading pole. The intermediate pole is coupled to a second portion of the leading pole and comprises a second helical plate disposed on a first portion of the intermediate pole. The diameter of the intermediate pole is greater than a diameter of the leading pole. Applying the rotational force embeds the first helical plate and the second helical plate into a foundation such that a second portion of the intermediate pole does not penetrate the foundation. The method further includes coupling a utility pole to the second portion of the intermediate pole.

  • Patent number: 9091037
Abstract: A support assembly includes a plurality of support arms coupled to a pole or tower structure. The plurality of support arms project radially from the pole or tower structure in a spaced relationship. A plurality of adjustable foot assemblies are coupled to respective distal ends of the plurality of support arms. Each of the plurality of adjustable foot assemblies is configured for coupling to an embedded helical pier. Each of the plurality of adjustable foot assemblies is capable of movement in each of three dimensions relative to the respective support arm to which it is coupled during installation of the support assembly.
