Patents Assigned to Micafil A.G.
  • Patent number: 3995092
Abstract: A laminated threaded rod comprises a number of pressed and glued together laminated sections extending longitudinally of the rod. The laminations of all of the sections extend substantially perpendicularly to the superficies of the rod at least at four different locations on the superficies and which are opposed to each other cross-wise within a cross-sectional plane of the rod. The glued together laminated sections can have various initial cross-sections prior to being machined into rounded threaded form such as triangular or rectangular, and the number of sections can also be varied, there being, for example, four or eight triangular sections or three rectangular sections.

  • Patent number: 3974314
Abstract: A laminated molded insulation material for insulation of electrical machines and particularly useful for conductor slot insulation of dynamo-electric machines is produced by covering both sides of a dielectrically strong, homogeneous electrically insulating polyheterocylene foil such as polyhydantoin with protective layers of tangled fibers such as an aromatic polyamide paper known under the trade name "Nomex". The composite consisting of the protective tangled fiber layers joined to the insulating foil is then enclosed on both sides by layers of a high-tensile strength, fiber-reinforced synthetic resin using, for example, a glass fleece or glass-silk fabric as the fiber material, and which are joined to the protective tangled fiber layers and in such manner that within the protective layers opposite the insulating foil there exists a continuous remainder of non-resin impregnated tangled-fiber structure consisting solely of tangled fibers.

  • Patent number: 3949859
Abstract: Apparatus for transporting work pieces by means of work piece pickups engageable with a chain type conveyor to a plurality of work stations located along the path of the conveyor. Work piece pickups located between parallel spaced guide rails which are disposed above two parallel spaced endless link type chains are provided with guide rolls which engage the undersides of the guide rails and with pivotally mounted carrier arms provided with toe portions adapted to engage the links in the conveyor chains. Means are provided at each work station to stop one, or a group, of work piece pickups while the conveyor chains continue to move and to actuate a gripping device for releasing the work piece so that it can be worked on.
