Abstract: A method for fabricating a funnel, a tool for carrying out the method, and a funnel of flat material, more particularly of plastic-coated paper. A receptacle for a pulverulent and/or liquid medium includes a funnel disposed in a pouring or discharging region. A blank of flat material is shaped to a funnel-shaped sleeve having an outlet opening, an inlet opening, and an opening angle, and the funnel-shaped sleeve is swaged in at least one subregion to effect enlargement of the opening angle.

Abstract: Folding mandrel, device and method for manufacturing glued sleeves. The invention relates to a folding mandrel for a device for manufacturing glued sleeves, in particular paper sleeves for the manufacture of paper cups, where the folding mandrel is provided for winding of a plane segment and is so dimensioned that in the wound-on state of the segment an overlap containing adhesive is obtained. Abstract: A device and a process for transporting a sleeve, in particular for a cup or a can, in which the sleeve is transported during the production process from a first working station to a second working station. The sleeve is transported by a blast of air, whereby the blast of air is generated in the opposite direction to the transport direction of the sleeve. A first working station comprises a mandrel for taking up the sleeve. Abstract: Described is a stackable, heat-insulating paperboard cup having an inner sleeve and an outer sleeve with a gap therebetween. A rolled lip is applied to the lower end of the outer sleeve, which rolled lip is disposed on the inner sleeve. A shoulder is formed on the inner sleeve for the rolled lip of another paperboard cup to be stacked. The diameter of the inner sleeve below the shoulder is reduced discontinuously. The support of the lower rolled lip on the outer surface of the inner sleeve is arranged at the same level as, or below, the cup bottom.
