  • Patent number: 5384972
Abstract: A pin locking device for preventing an involuntary unlocking of a pin which is bent back on itself to form a spring, the pin having a pointed end section and a clasp mechanism mutually adjacent each other, the clasp mechanism retaining the pointed end section in a clasped condition against the urging of the spring. The pin locking device includes an elongated lock member having a body of a finite length made of a non-compressible material and having first and second spaced and parallel holes extending transversely through the body. An axially outwardly opening slot is provided in one end face of the lock member and extends entirely across the end face parallel to and opens into the first one of the transversely extending holes. The pointed end section of the pin extends through the second hole.

  • Patent number: 5274927
Abstract: A combination of a compass and a connecting arrangement. The compass includes a compass housing having a base wall, a circular wall connected to and upstanding from the base wall and a transparent window connected to the circular wall to define a sealed chamber in which is located the compass works. The compass housing has a radially outwardly extending flange thereon which is greater in dimension than the outer diameter of the circular wall. The connecting arrangement includes a strap for securing the compass housing to an archer's bow. The strap includes an elongated, uniformly thin strip of material having oppositely facing surfaces. The strap has a centrally disposed, circular-shaped first hole therethrough, the diameter of the circular-shaped hole being less than the diameter of the aforesaid flange. The compass housing is received in the circular-shaped first hole, the flange abutting the second surface on the strap.

  • Patent number: 5274928
Abstract: A combination of a compass and a connective arrangement for facilitating connection of the compass to a firearm or other portable object. The connective arrangement includes a one or two part elongated and hollow sleeve having an interior opening therein opening outwardly at opposite first and second ends. A housing containing the compass works is received in the first end of the sleeve. The interior opening at the second end of the sleeve has an internal thread threadedly secured to an externally threaded screw to thereby facilitate the connection of the compass works containing housing to the firearm or other portable object.

  • Patent number: 5269564
Abstract: A combination game tag holder and game kill tag, the game kill tag having printed information in segments along at least one marginal edge thereof, selected segments of the printed information being adapted to be removed following a game kill. The game tag holder has first and second parallel and transparent sheets conforming in dimension to the game kill tag and closely spaced from one another to contain the game kill tag therebetween. The transparent sheets are made of a material that is more resistant to cutting than the game kill tag. Plural and separate notches are provided in at least one marginal edge of the game tag holder, the notches and segmented printed information being aligned when the game kill tag is between the aforesaid sheets so that the segmented printed information is exposed through the notches.
