Abstract: A weight modification clamp comprises first and second hingedly connected plates configured to be coupled to a bar of a weight-lifting device, such as a dumbbell, barbell or a kettlebell. First end portions of the first and second plates are pivotably connected and movable about a rotational axis so that opposing second end portions of the first and second plates are movable between a closed orientation and an open orientation and along a plane substantially perpendicular to the rotational axis. The first and second plates define a central opening configured to receive and retain the bar therein.
