Abstract: A method for increasing an operating rate of a graphics card includes: raising a rotation rate of a radiator fan of a graphics processing unit chip of the graphics card to a first rotation rate according to a rate increasing command; raising a voltage inputted to the graphics processing unit chip to a first voltage, and raising a voltage inputted to a memory of the graphics card to a second voltage when the rotation rate of the radiator fan is approximately equal to the first rotation rate; and raising a timing of the graphics processing unit chip to a first timing, and raising a timing of the memory to a second timing when the voltage inputted to the graphics processing unit chip is approximately equal to the first voltage, the voltage inputted to the memory being approximately equal to the second voltage.

Abstract: In an apparatus and a method for automatically indicating time in a text file, a receiver module receives a text file and a speech file, in which the text file is composed of a plurality of sentences; a speech recognition module transforms the sentences in the text file into a speech model, divides the speech file into a plurality of sound frames and assigns numbers to them in sequence in accordance with a time interval, turns speech data of the sound frames into feature parameters through speech capturing, and calculates the best speech route matching the sound frames with the speech model; an indicator module captures the assigned number of the sound frame corresponding to the beginning of each sentence in accordance with the best speech route, obtains a starting time of the speech file corresponding to the beginning of each sentence through the assigned number of the sound frame and a time interval and indicates the starting time in the text file.

A replay actuation module receives a replay command and sets a replay endpoint on the soundwave signal. A replay access module sets the nearest segmentation point prior to the replay endpoint as a replay startpoint. A replay module plays the soundwave signal from the replay startpoint to the replay endpoint.

Abstract: A method for varying speech speed is provided. The method includes the following steps: receive an original speech signal; calculate a pitch period of the original speech signal; define search ranges according to the pitch period; find a maximum within each of the search ranges of the original speech signal; divide the original speech signal into speech sections according to the maxima; obtain a speed-varied speech signal by applying a speed-varying algorithm to each speech section of the original speed signal according to a speed-varying command; and eventually, output the speed-varied speech signal.

When the first element and the second element are not in a same height level, one may force the first element to be adjusted within the elastic deformation range of the elastic member until the first element is in the same height level with the second element, such that the first element and the second element are connected and fixed together.

Abstract: An assembling member disposed on a heatsink fan in pairs for detachably disposing the heatsink fan on a fixed frame is provided. The assembling member includes a jointing part and an operating part. The jointing part matches with the fixed frame, and extends a plurality of fastening pins capable of being hooked at the assembly holes of the heatsink fan. The operating part is extended from one end of the jointing part, and passed and grasped by human fingers, so as to hook the jointing part on the heatsink fan. Thus, the heatsink fan is mounted on the fixed frame only by hooking the operating part through human fingers.

In the present invention, a motion mechanism is disposed between the case and the supporting frame, by which the supporting frame has a handling position outside the case and a fixed position inside the case. At the fixed position, the motion mechanism forms an interference relation, such that the supporting frame is fixed on the mounting position and is unable to be departed from the case.

Abstract: A fixing mechanism for use in a peripheral storage device having a cover and a core, includes a first hook slip element on the cover and a second hook slip element on the core. The first hook slip element is formed with a bending part and an extension part. The second hook slip element is formed with a first step part on which the bending part rests and a hook slip part for the extension part to pass therethrough to be engaged with the hook slip part, such that the cover and the core are hooked together in a way that movement of the cover in both vertical and horizontal directions is restricted with respect to the core.

The scanning module scans an object to be scanned and converts image into image data. Thus, the portable electronic device obtains the image data of the object to be scanned.

Abstract: An operation monitor device for a hardware component detects a load current that is changed due to the operation of the hardware component through a pulse width modulation (PWM) module; thereby generating a voltage variation. A monitoring unit outputs a detecting result to a system by detecting the voltage variation and generates a modulating signal in response to a monitor signal fed back by the system according to the detecting result, such that a controller generates a reference voltage variation according to the modulating signal. In this way, the load current changes as the load of the hardware component increases, such that the controller changes the generated reference voltage and further modulates the output voltage supplied to the hardware component by the PWM module, thus meeting the execution state of the hardware component and improving performance.

The method comprises the following steps: providing the station with a signal-strength information and a channel-influence information from the other wireless network service provider, generating a interference information based on the signal-strength information and the channel-influence information by the wireless network service provider, and selecting the best channel of the wireless network service provider according to the interference information. Thus, the best channel can be chosen to be used for improving the efficiency in the wireless network.

Abstract: A heat dissipation device for dissipating heat from a plug-in electronic component, such as a memory is provided. The heat dissipation device includes a base frame, a moving frame, and a retaining cover. The base frame is disposed at one side of the electronic component. The moving frame is movably mounted on the base frame. A heat dissipation fan is mounted on the retaining cover, and the retaining cover is also movably mounted on the moving frame. In this manner, the heat dissipation fan has at least a retraction position where the heat dissipation fan is not overlaid above the electronic components so as to plug or remove the electronic component, and a heat dissipation position where the heat dissipation fan dissipates heat from the corresponding electronic component. Furthermore, the heat dissipation position changes in accordance with actual heat dissipation requirements, thereby providing an optimal heat dissipation mode.
