Patents Assigned to Microbo, S.A.
  • Patent number: 9050323
Abstract: Use of at least one transferrin, preferably lactoferrin, for preventing and/or treating destructive inflammation affecting mucous membranes, optionally associated with states of hypoferremia and/or anemia and/or acute and chronic infections. The destructive inflammation is caused, for example, by pathological conditions during pregnancy and by infections sustained by intracellular or adhered or biofilm-protected pathogens. The action of the transferrins described here is achieved by means of their topical and/or oral administration. A combined preparation for simultaneous, sequential or separate use is also described which comprises, as active components, a first composition for topical administration of at least one transferrin and a second composition for oral administration of at least one transferrin.

  • Patent number: 4563122
Abstract: An industrial robot is described having a movable arm, a wrist pivotally mounted for motion about an axis at the free end of the arm, and a cylindrical shaft perpendicular to said axis and rotatably mounted on the wrist. To enable it to be used for holding components subjected to forces, as during grinding operations, the robot is provided with a pair of jaws that can be clamped on the shaft and are able to prevent both the shaft from rotating and the wrist from pivoting. Movement of the jaws is controlled by shoes which are slidably mounted on a pair of circularly curved parallel rails having a common center coinciding with the pivotal axis of the wrist.

  • Patent number: 4468666
Abstract: The apparatus comprises a first marking element rigid with a disk rotationally driven in synchronism with the translation movement of the member and a detector which delivers an electrical signal upon the passage of the marking. The disk makes many complete rotations for the complete stroke of the member. A second marking element is rigid with the member and a second detecting device delivers an electrical signal upon the passage of the marking in front of the detector. The logic circuit C processes these two electrical signals so as to produce a signal 10 which gives the instant when the moving member passes through the reference position.

  • Patent number: 4424472
Abstract: For each degree of freedom of the robot and in the COMMAND mode (switch 32 in position II) the corresponding movable member 21 is moved by an actuator 20 in accordance with an error signal formed as the difference between a command datum C supplied from a register 27 and an actual position datum P supplied by a position sensor 26, the command data required from time to time being provided from a memory 28 via a circuit 34. For training the robot, the FOLLOW mode is selected by putting the switch 32 in position I and the command datum C is replaced by the position datum P, the value of which is periodically entered in the register 27 via a switch 33 which is periodically closed by pulses 35a from a pulse generator 36. When the robot is at a position to which it is to be trained, a switch 30 is closed to write the then contents of the register 27 in the memory 28 for subsequent use in the COMMAND mode.
