Abstract: A method for validating a sensor assembly of a meter is provided. The method comprises a step of receiving one or more sensor calibration values. The method further comprises a step of comparing the received sensor calibration values to one or more known sensor calibration values. The method can then validate the sensor assembly if the one or more received sensor calibration values are within a predetermined tolerance of the one or more known sensor calibration values.
Abstract: A vibrating member adapted for use in a vibrating densitometer is provided. The vibrating member comprises a base and a vibrating tube portion affixed to the base. The vibrating tube portion comprises an inner diameter and an outer diameter, wherein the inner diameter is axially shifted from the outer diameter such that the inner diameter is not concentric with the outer diameter, and wherein the axial shift increases a frequency separation between vibration modes in the vibrating tube portion.

Abstract: A method for calculating a fluid parameter of a fluid flowing through a vibratory flow meter is provided. The method comprises vibrating the flow meter at one or more frequencies and receiving a vibrational response. The method further comprises generating a first fluid property and generating at least a second fluid property. The method further comprises calculating a fluid parameter based on the first fluid property and the at least second fluid property.
