Abstract: The present invention relates to an imaging device (1) comprising: a first microwave sensor or set of microwave sensors (2), preferably radiometric sensors, each microwave sensor (2) being configured to pick up electromagnetic radiation emitted or reflected by bodies or objects situated in a detection zone of said microwave sensor (2); and reflector means (6) configured to reflect the electromagnetic radiation that can be picked up by the first microwave sensor or the set of microwave sensors (2). In particular, the reflector means (6) are mounted to move in the detection zone of each microwave sensor (2) in such a manner as to move said detection zone by moving the reflector means (6). The invention also provides a corresponding microwave imaging method.

Abstract: A spatial power combiner includes several inputs to which are respectively linked a plurality of transmission lines, and an output. A body defines a cavity and the plurality of transmission lines pass longitudinally through the cavity and are disposed around an absorbent member also extending longitudinally in the cavity. A power amplification set includes the spatial power combiner and an amplification structure at the input of the spatial power combiner.

Abstract: The invention relates to a portable radiometric imaging device and to a corresponding method, finding a particular application in detecting articles carried by passengers or contained in baggage, for example in airports and train stations. The device includes a plurality of receiver antennas for picking up electromagnetic radiation from a plurality of parts of a body or an article and converting them into a plurality of signals representative of said radiation, a plurality of receiver modules associated with the antennas for receiving the signals representative of the radiation and converting them into a plurality of electrical signals, and a digital processor unit for responding to the electrical signals to create one or more digital signals representative of the electromagnetic radiation for display on a display as an image of the body or article.
