A valve member may be disposed at a predetermined rotational position about an axis of rotation of the conduit such that a fluid inlet on a rotatable valve body may be rotated to the predetermined rotational position to restrict fluid flow to the conduit.

Abstract: A laundry washing machine and method control a spin operation using a spin profile determined at least in part based upon a dynamically determined load type of a load being washed in the laundry washing machine. By doing so, the speed(s) and/or amount(s) of time in which a spin operation is performed may be customized for different types of loads, and in many instances, may reduce the amount of noise and/or energy consumption associated with spinning a wash tub during a wash cycle.

Abstract: A control method for a cooking equipment includes: acquiring image information of a cooking material; identifying the image information, and determining category information and volume information of the cooking material; and according to the category information and the volume information, determining the doneness corresponding to the cooking material. The volume information and the category information of the cooking material are obtained by identifying the image information, the volume change amount of the cooking material in the cooking process is calculated by using the initial volume and the current volume of the cooking material. Based on the volume change amount of the cooking material, the doneness corresponding to the cooking material is determined in a pre-trained doneness model. The control method includes monitoring the volume change of the cooking material in real time, to achieve an automatic doneness recognition function using the volume change amount.

Abstract: A low profile conductivity sensor for a laundry washing machine includes a pair of electrodes that extend substantially parallel to a wall of a wash tub of the laundry washing machine to which the low profile conductivity sensor is mounted and that have respective sensing surfaces that are substantially flush with a housing surface of the sensor housing, and in some instances, with a wall of the laundry washing machine, to reduce the collection of lint and/or hair by the low profile conductivity sensor.
