Abstract: A beverage container that includes a main body portion having an open top, a closed bottom and an interior that defines a first volume, and a removable cover that includes a bottom and a generally cylindrical side wall extending upwardly from the bottom. The bottom and the generally cylindrical side wall cooperate to define a cover cavity, the removable cover is removably engaged with the main body portion, and the bottom includes a plug opening defined therethrough. A breathable plug is received in the plug opening. The plug allows a liquid disposed within the first volume to breathe with respect to an exterior of the beverage container.
