  • Patent number: 12593822
Abstract: An animal enclosure assembly having an enclosure with at least one side wall and a bottom wall coupled to the side wall. The bottom wall and the side wall define an interior space for containing an animal. The enclosure defines an air outlet that is positioned adjacent a top of the side wall, and an air inlet positioned below the air outlet. The air inlet is configured to receive airflow such that the airflow is directed transversely across the interior space toward a portion of the side wall in a first direction. The airflow is redirected by the portion of the side wall across the interior space in a second direction that is positioned at an angle with respect to the first direction.

  • Patent number: 12534118
Abstract: A cart for tending to a patient includes a base, a tabletop, a body, a drawer, and a tray. The base has a plurality of wheels. The body vertically extends from the base to the tabletop and supports the tabletop thereon. The drawer is supported by the body and configured to selectively move from a first closed position toward a first open position. The tray is movably supported by the body such that the tray is configured to selectively move from a stowed position toward a first lateral position and from the stowed position toward a second lateral position. The tray in the stowed position is vertically below the tabletop. The tray in the first and second lateral positions projects from the body such that at least a portion of the tray is not vertically below the tabletop and thus exposed for access.

  • Patent number: 12520815
Abstract: An animal enclosure with a wall assembly and a panel that is configured to couple to the wall assembly. The wall assembly includes a plurality of walls that are coupled together to define an interior space. The walls define an opening configured for fluid connection to a ventilation system. When the panel is coupled to the wall assembly, the panel divides the interior space into a vent space, which is in fluid communication with the opening, and a living space. A vent opening formed in the panel is configured to place the living space in fluid communication with the vent space. The panel may be removably coupled to the wall assembly. The panel may include a damper system for selectively opening and closing the vent opening.

  • Patent number: 12518874
Abstract: Various systems and methods for collecting patient data are discussed herein. According to some systems and methods, a timer may be started, and a blood pressure data collection system is actuated to obtain a blood pressure measurement of a patient upon the expiration of the timer. The timer may be incorporated into a patient data collection system or method to ensure the patient is relaxed and calm prior to taking a blood pressure measurement. An event may be sensed by an environmental sensor system and the timer may be started in response to sensing the event. A clinician leaving a room where the patient is disposed is one example of an event. An interruption may be sensed by the environmental sensor system and the timer may be terminated in response to sensing the interruption. The clinician entering the room where the patient is disposed in one example of an interruption.

  • Patent number: 12350204
Abstract: An armrest assembly is disclosed herein. The armrest assembly includes a main body with a proximal adjustment assembly disposed at a first end and a distal adjustment assembly disposed at a second end. The proximal adjustment assembly provides for adjustment of the main body about a first axis. The distal adjustment assembly provides for adjustment of an arm pad about a second axis as well as a third axis. To prevent damage, a breakaway assembly is provided by the distal adjustment assembly to unlock the arm pad from a raised position and lower it into a lower position in the event a weight applied to the arm pad is beyond a particular weight threshold.

  • Patent number: 12350202
Abstract: A medical examination table includes a base assembly, a table assembly, a table actuation assembly, a wheel assembly, and an actuating mobility assembly. The base assembly configured to support the medical examination table in a first mobility configuration. The table actuation assembly is configured to raise and lower the table assembly relative to the base member to thereby transition the table assembly between a lowered position and a raised position. The wheel assembly is configured to support the medical examination table in a second mobility configuration. The actuating mobility assembly is configured to cooperate with the table actuation assembly to thereby actuate the wheel assembly relative to the base assembly to thereby transition the medical examination table between the first mobility configuration to the second mobility configuration.

  • Patent number: 12156967
Abstract: Traditionally, vital signs monitors in the veterinary setting have been designed for use with human subjects that have simply been repurposed for use in the veterinary space. While some changes may be made to the human monitor to make it more amenable for veterinary use (e.g., changing the monitor display options from “adult” and “pediatric” to “large animal” and “small animal”), these changes are generally only done on a superficial level and thus omit significant veterinary-specific functionality that might otherwise be obtained. Further, vital signs monitors do not include a pre-procedure checklist or any functionality to increase safety awareness and allow clinics to ensure compliance with certain pre-procedure protocols. Accordingly, it is a purpose of the present invention to provide a veterinary-specific vitals signs monitor that overcomes these traditional limitations and increases the ease and efficiency with which veterinary care can be delivered.

  • Patent number: 12048374
Abstract: A mobile workstation with adjustable height of the present disclosure may comprise a top assembly, an adjustment assembly, and a bottom assembly. Adjustment assembly may comprise telescopically engaged segments. One or more pulleys or pulley assemblies may be disposed within one or more of the segments to allow for withdrawing and retracting segments from one another at the same rate. Actuation of the raising or lowering of the overall height of the mobile workstation may be realized through either a manual actuation or an electronic element such as a linear actuator.
