Patents Assigned to MIKROWELLEN-LABOR-SYSTEME GMBH
  • Publication number: 20140117008
Abstract: A pressure vessel for receiving samples to be heated is provided, the pressure vessel has a closable reaction chamber as a pressure chamber for initiating and/or promoting chemical and/or physical pressure reactions, and the pressure vessel has a microwave-permeable region, by way of which microwaves can be coupled into the reaction chamber. A hollow light guide pipe extends from the microwave-permeable region towards an infrared sensor, which is arranged outside the pressure chamber, and by way of which the infrared radiation emitted by the heated samples in the reaction chamber is guided during a pressure reaction to the infrared sensor. In the microwave-permeable region, an infrared-permeable pressure receiving part is provided, between the reaction chamber and the light guide pipe and lies against the reaction chamber, in order to support the light guide pipe in the microwave-permeable region.

  • Patent number: 5447077
Abstract: In a device (1) for the evaporation treatment of preferably liquid substances, in particular reagents, or for the preparation or analysis of sample material in a container (6), having a preferably microwave-operated heating appliance (2) and a holder (4) for at least one container (6) in the heating chamber (3), the container (6) being connected to a supply line (11; 11a) and/or to a discharge line (9; 63, 63a), the line (9; 11; 11a; 63; 63a) has in the peripheral region of the container (6) a releasable line connection (43; 45) which is established by the insertion movement on insertion of the container (6) into the holder (4) or severed by the removal movement on removal of the container (6) from the holder (4) as a result of coaxial relative displacement or parallel displacement of the line connection portions (38a, 38b; 23c).

  • Patent number: 5382414
Abstract: The invention relates to apparatus for performing chemical and physical pressure reactions on samples by the action of microwaves, having container inserts to receive the samples that are at least in part microwave-permeable and are arranged in a microwave-impermeable housing connected via at least one coupling opening to a microwave generator. To enable pressure reactions to be performed at higher pressures and more economically overall, it is proposed according to the invention that the housing include at least one pressure vessel (4) of high-pressure resistant material whose coupling opening (12) is microwave-permeable and closed in a high-pressure resistant manner, and that a single container insert is arranged in the pressure vessel (4) so as to fit closely against its inner surface.

  • Patent number: 5338409
Abstract: There is described an apparatus for distilling liquids in a vacuum, having a receptacle for a liquid that can be connected to a vacuum pump, a heating arrangement for heating the receptacle causing the liquid to evaporate, a condenser for condensing the vapour, and a collecting vessel for the condensate. To be able to handle the apparatus quickly and more simply and to make it overall more economical and make it possible to carry out continuous distillation, the heating arrangement includes a vacuum-tight receiving chamber (1) for the receptacle (2) and a microwave generator (13, 13.
