Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for detecting human intervention over a driving operation of a vehicle that can be operated in a semi-autonomous or an autonomous mode or at least partially in a manual mode. In any one or more aspects, the systems and methods can determine a time period or distance traveled by the vehicle during the intervention of the operation of the vehicle as compared to a time period or distance traveled by the vehicle when operating in the semi-autonomous or autonomous mode, which if desired can be used to determine risk for insurance underwriting of the vehicle.
