Abstract: Javascript code in an HTML Plug-In identifies a video playback event, from an application programming interface (API) of a video provider, during playback of a video in a web view instantiated within a native environment of a computing device. In response, the Javascript code generates a custom uniform resource locator (URL) for the web view that reflects the identified video playback event and provides the custom URL to native instructions executing in the native environment.

Abstract: A processing device pairs an emitting device with a recipient device to synchronize media content between the emitting device and the recipient device. The processing device receives an instruction from the emitting device, the instruction comprising a parameter and a value for the media content, and forwards, the instruction to the recipient device for execution on the media content. The processing device receives a notification from the recipient device indicating a status of the execution of the instruction.

Abstract: A computing device receives an indication of an action performed on a resource by a user of a user device. The computing device stores context data corresponding to the action and analyzes the indication of the action with respect to the context data, to determine a user affinity value for a criteria associated with the resource. The computing device stores the user affinity value for the criteria in a contextual user profile associated with the user.
