Abstract: Mouth gags having a tongue blade that includes a spine and an engagement portion for engaging a tongue of a patient are disclosed herein. The spine has a front, a back, a first side and a second side. A plurality of ratchet notches are located on the first side and a plurality of ratchet notches located on the second side. The mouth gag also includes a ratchet mechanism. The ratchet mechanism has a plurality of ratchet teeth for engaging the ratchet notches and a plurality of release tabs for disengaging the ratchet teeth from the ratchet notches.

Abstract: A wheelbarrow apparatus that includes a frame assembly, a tub, a wheel assembly, and at least one auxiliary storage device and/or transport pin. In one embodiment, an auxiliary storage devices is a tube for storing elongated items, such as tools with elongated handles (e.g., rakes and shovels), and thin pieces of wood, metal, etc. In another embodiment, an auxiliary storage devices is a storage bin for storing smaller items, such as small hand tools, hardware, adhesive, rope, tool belt, papers, etc. In another embodiment, a transport pin is used to stabilize items during transport.

Abstract: A suction device for evacuating fumes includes a tongue depressor having a pair of opposed walls; at least one suction tube connected to the tongue depressor; an elongated support member to which the suction tube is connected; and a connecting member attached to an end of the suction tube for connecting the suction tube to a suction generating device. A light such as a fiber optic light can be added to the suction device. The tongue depressor, suction tube and elongated support member can be made of one piece.
