Patents Assigned to MINDMAZE HOLDING SA
  • Patent number: 11367198
Abstract: Systems, methods and apparatuses for tracking at least a portion of a body by fitting data points received from a depth sensor and/or other sensors and/or “markers” as described herein to a body model. For example, in some embodiments, certain of such data points are identified as “super points,” and apportioned greater weight as compared to other points. Such super points can be obtained from objects attached to the body, including, but not limited to, active markers that provide a detectable signal, or a passive object, including, without limitation, headgear or a mask (for example for VR (virtual reality)), or a smart watch. Such super points may also be obtained from specific data points that are matched to the model, such as data points that are matched to vertices that correspond to joints in the model.

  • Patent number: 11295470
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for a system, devices, and methods for simultaneous localization and mapping in a high- and low-frequency dynamic environment. One exemplary embodiment relates to a method that includes generating a first SLAM map of the environment; generating a second SLAM map of a portion of the environment at least in part from visual feature data received from a first client device located in the portion of the environment; receiving a localization signal from a second client device indicating the location of the client device; sending, in response to the localization signal, data that includes a minimum number of map points that a SLAM process on the second client device should be able to detect in the portion of environment.

  • Patent number: 11266835
Abstract: The invention concerns an arrangement comprising an electrical stimulator (1), a programming system (25) for assisting a user in programming it for performing a determined body movement by neuromuscular stimulation; and an input device (24) operable by the user. The programming system is configured to: decompose the neuromuscular movement into distinct actions (31), select one of them, and configuring the electrical stimulator with the electrical stimulation parameters associated with the selected action. The programming system is further configured to select one electrical stimulation parameter among the electrical stimulation parameters associated with the selected distinct action, and, in a cycle performed while the electrical stimulator is connected to the user's body: to receive a value of the selected electrical stimulation parameter through the input device (24); and to configure the electrical stimulator (1) with the received value of the selected electrical stimulation parameter.

  • Patent number: 11105696
Abstract: A system for measuring power output of a runner is disclosed. In some embodiments the system comprises a first sensor component including a first sensor, microprocessor, and a signal transceiver; a second sensor component including a second sensor and a signal transmitter; wherein the first sensor is configured to measure a vertical velocity and horizontal velocity, the second sensor is configured to measure the slope angle of a foot of the runner during a stance phase of the foot, the signal transmitter configured to send slope angle data, the signal transceiver configured to receive the slope angle data from the signal transmitter, and the microprocessor has computing instructions configured to calculate a power output based on the vertical velocity, horizontal velocity, and slope angle data.

  • Patent number: 11000669
Abstract: Virtual reality method intended to be implemented in a virtual reality system, the method including the production of a stimulus in the system during a period of stimulation, the stimulus including: a projection of an image sequence; a production of a first sound signal including a soundtrack linked to the progress of the image sequence; a production of a second sound signal having a first frequency and a third sound signal having a second frequency, the second sound signal being audible from one ear and the third sound signal being audible from the other ear of the user; a production of a fourth sound signal including a spoken presentation; during an initial portion of said predetermined period, the stimulus further including an induction signal; and during a final portion of said predetermined period, the intensity of the sound signals decreasing in intensity until a zero intensity, and the image sequence decreasing in intensity until a zero intensity.
