Patent number: 12254991Abstract: Systems and methods for training a model for identifying an imaging modality. The systems and methods can be performed by a computer system having one or more processors and memory. A plurality of image vectors can be generated from first image data using a convolutional neural network. A loss function can be applied to each of the plurality of image vectors to produce an intermediate dataset. The intermediate dataset can be projected in a space having lower dimensional space that the intermediate dataset. A plurality of clusters can be identified from the intermediate dataset in the space using a clustering technique. Each of the plurality of clusters can be classified into one of a plurality of imaging modalities.Type: GrantFiled: April 13, 2020Date of Patent: March 18, 2025Assignee: Mint Labs, Inc.Inventors: Irina Sanchez, Matthew Rowe, Santiago Puch Giner

Publication number: 20240175957Abstract: The present solution can segment tracts by performing two-pass tractography. The system can first perform deterministic tractography and then probabilistic tractography. The system can use the result from the deterministic tractography to update and refine initial identified regions of interest. The refined regions of interest can be used to filter and select streamlines identified through the probabilistic tractography.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 7, 2023Publication date: May 30, 2024Applicant: Mint Labs Inc.Inventors: Vesna Prchkovska, Paulo Reis Rodrigues, Matthew Rowe

Patent number: 10702156Abstract: The present disclosure discusses systems and methods for identifying biomarkers that can help with the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment choices of patients with neurodegenerative diseases. Diffusion based magnetic resonance imaging can often fail for patients with a neurodegenerative disease because parameters fractional anisotropy, mean diffusivity, and radial diffusivity are based on simple models that can fail in the presence of neurodegeneration, such as demyelination. The present disclosure discusses systems and methods that enhance dMRI images and enable tractography to be performed on images of a damaged nervous system. The damaged tracks identified by the present system can be used as a biomarker for the assessment of patients. In some implementations, the biomarkers are converted into clinical scales that can be used to compare patients to one another or over time.Type: GrantFiled: October 12, 2016Date of Patent: July 7, 2020Assignee: Mint Labs Inc.Inventors: Vesna Prchkovska, Paulo Reis Rodrigues, Marc Ramos Bruach, Pablo Villoslada, Álvaro Abella de Bascarán
