    Abstract: The invention is directed to synergistic biocidal compositions that combine copper salt and an organic biocide selected from the group of tribromophenol, its salts and chelates, and sodium-omadine, its salts and chelates. Wood treated with the preservative compositions have improved fungi resistance.
