Abstract: A thermoelectric cooler is used to cool the air within a therapeutic tent and includes a housing supported by a stand. Thermoelectric modules are sandwiched between hot and cold spacing blocks. A cold spacing block is sized to fit within a complementary opening in the housing. Air from the tent is blown past a finned cooling heat exchanger, secured to the cold spacing block within a cool air enclosure, to cool the air and return it to the tent. The cooling heat exchanger and cool air enclosure defining the cool air path are may be removed for cleaning and sterilization after use. Potentially contaminated air from the tent never touches the main housing or the various components housed within the main housing.
