Publication number: 20070164613Abstract: An uninterrupted power supply unit is provided with a straightforward switch connected between a power source and a load to supply or interrupt a power to a system. The combination of the outputs from two kinds of single phase inverters enables compensating for a variation in the system voltage in the normal condition and to supply a predetermined voltage to the load after decreasing in the system voltage and opening of a straight forward switch.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 26, 2004Publication date: July 19, 2007Applicant: Misubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Masaki Yamada, Akihiko Iwata, Yoshihiro Hatakeyama

Patent number: 7112976Abstract: Two resilient sections are connected to a tip end which is to be brought into contact with an external connection terminal of a contact belonging to a test socket of an electronic device or semiconductor package. The resilient sections provided opposite to each other and are bent so as to extend horizontally with respect to the tip end. The force exerted downward on the tip end is equally distributed between the plurality of resilient sections. The resilient sections are eventually deflected downwardly without involvement of horizontal sliding action. The force which is exerted on the tip end in reaction to the downward deflection of the curved portions brings the tip end into pressing contact with the external connection terminal without involvement of horizontal sliding action of the tip end with respect to the external connection terminal.Type: GrantFiled: May 11, 2004Date of Patent: September 26, 2006Assignee: Misubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Yasushi Tokumo, Shigeki Maekawa, Yoshihiro Kashiba, Shigeru Takada

Patent number: 6453876Abstract: The fuel injection system includes an injector 7 to be electromagnetically driven, a control device 2 for outputting a drive signal having first current-carrying time T1 and second current-carrying time T2 to this injector 7, and a drive device 6 for passing a large current to open a valve of the injector 7 during the first current-carrying time T1 and passing a small current to hold the injector 7 in a valve opening state during the second current-carrying time T2. The system is constructed so that the first current-carrying time T1 is set to the time shorter than valve opening required time T0 from a current-carrying start of the injector 7 to full opening and this time difference is set to the value shorter than valve closing operation delay time from a current break of the injector 7 in the case of breaking a current in the first current-carrying time T1 to a start of a valve closing operation.Type: GrantFiled: October 11, 2000Date of Patent: September 24, 2002Assignee: Misubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Norihisa Fukutomi, Osamu Matsumoto, Masayuki Aota

Patent number: 5143864Abstract: A semiconductor laser device having an active layer sandwiched by semiconductor layers having larger energy band gaps than that of the active layer, includes a semiconductor absorption layer having an energy band gap no larger than that of the active layer and having a thickness periodically changing in the cavity length direction of the resonator, close to the active layer so that light which is generated at the active layer reaches the absorption layer, and a semiconductor refractive index matching layer, having a larger energy band gap than that of the active layer and a higher refractive index than those of the semiconductor layers sandwiching the active layer, to make the equivalent refractive indices in layer thickness direction substantially equal along the resonator direction.Type: GrantFiled: July 29, 1991Date of Patent: September 1, 1992Assignee: Misubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Akira Takemoto, Hitoshi Watanabe, Masatoshi Fujiwara, Syoichi Kakimoto

Patent number: 4979059Abstract: In a data memorizing device in which a magnetic head is supported on a recording surface of a disk-like recording medium carrier rotatably driven, an actuator carrying the magnetic head is moved to bring the magnetic head to a predetermined position on the magnetic recording medium carrier, an error detection circuit compares a position-determining time required in the movement of the magnetic head from starting the movement of the head to the completion of the movement with a reference time previously determined by an instruction from a computer, and outputs a positioning-error signal in accordance with the determination of error in positioning the magnetic head when the value of the position-determining signal is greater than the value of a reference time.Type: GrantFiled: November 27, 1989Date of Patent: December 18, 1990Assignee: Misubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Masaharu Sengoku
