Abstract: A container used in an aerosol type spout unit is made usable as a container used in a reciprocating pump type spout unit. A reciprocating pump (30) is mounted on the mouth of a container (20). And an injection button (38) is depressed to push in the piston (35) of the reciprocating pump to increase the pressure in a pressure chamber (b), and the piston is pushed down with respect to a stem (37) to let the contents of the pressure chamber into the injection button through a spout passage (37a) and deliver them through a spout port (39a), while the operator removes his hand from the injection button, thus canceling the pushing-in of the pistion, and releasing the pressure in the pressure chamber to lower the pressure in the pressure chamber, the piston being pushed up to open an inlet valve (36), sucking up the contents of the container into the pressure chamber.
Abstract: The plastic cover is easily removed from a metal container to allow the plastic cover and the metal container to be separately recycled. The lip that holds the plastic cover to the metal container has two or more circumferential ends which have a lower degree of engagement than the remaining portion of the lip. A press point on the cover which transforms the circular cover into an elliptical shape is positioned on the outside of the cover opposite the circumferential ends and a shoulder is mounted inside the cover opposite the press point. The shoulder bears against the container to assist in removal of the cover. Where the cover has both an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder, a rib is employed to connect the inner cylinder of the cover to the outer cylinder of the cover and to transfer pressure from the press point to the inner cylinder.
Abstract: In the reciprocating pump P, the pressure chamber 30 is formed by an atomizing tube 15, a piston 28, and a cylinder 20. The pressure chamber 30 has a check valve 24 that opens and closes the inlet of the said pressure chamber 30 and a ball-shaped stirring material 25 moving freely in the pressure chamber 30 that stirs the mixture in the pressure chamber 30. On the other hand, pumping space is formed by the piston 28 and the cylinder 20 in the reciprocating pump P, apart from the pressure chamber 30. The pumping space 29 is occupied by the mixture pumped up when the push button 17 is returned to its home position and communicating holes are provided through which the mixture is discharged into the container 10 when the push button is pressed. The atomizer of an reciprocating pump type of the present invention can stir sufficiently and atomize a liquid-powder mixture when used.
