Publication number: 20210337000Abstract: A cloud-based method and system for autonomously providing collaborative communication events to one or more users of client devices. The method and system are configured to analyze an active user communication for the purposes of determining, predicting, presenting, and/or triggering collaboration opportunities (e.g., later communication sessions or events) automatically or for manual selection by the active user. The analysis is performed in the context of a specific user communication and is completed with support from cloud-based communication services, data, and workflows.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 24, 2020Publication date: October 28, 2021Applicant: Mitel Cloud Services, Inc.Inventor: John Lord

Patent number: 10848201Abstract: A cloud based echo canceller is set forth for recreating an estimate of a lost packet or data at a server without requiring redundant data over the network or freezing operation of the echo canceller. In an exemplary embodiment, the echo cancelling function is not located in a single device, but is shared between the end-point and a cloud service, where the function of the end-point is to provide a time synchronized copy of the signal from the end-point loudspeaker and the signal received by the end-point microphone. Consequently, the high CPU intensive operations can be offloaded to a server such as a cloud server. In addition, several users can share the echo canceller, thereby reducing the cost of the overall function. According to an additional aspect, a further synchronization block is provided, in the form of a packet estimator, to compensate for packet or data loss in the send direction.Type: GrantFiled: September 26, 2019Date of Patent: November 24, 2020Assignee: Mitel Cloud Services, Inc.Inventor: Dieter Schulz

Patent number: 10824742Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for moving customer data relating to a service from the service to a customer-controlled secure storage upon deletion of a customer account from the service. Exemplary methods and systems are provided for moving the customer data to a location which is under the control or under ownership of the customer in a secure and automated fashion. Additionally, methods and systems are provided for establishing a client/service to service relationship.Type: GrantFiled: March 28, 2018Date of Patent: November 3, 2020Assignee: Mitel Cloud Services, Inc.Inventor: Terry Tam

Patent number: 10824685Abstract: Systems and methods for range programming using a search query are disclosed. A method for range programming using a search query includes determining whether the search query comprises a range operation and identifying a target application to launch using a search application which is separate from the target application and based on the search query. A range of results to process with the target application can be identified using the search application and based on the search query. The results can be separately within the range in the context of the target application.Type: GrantFiled: September 14, 2017Date of Patent: November 3, 2020Assignee: Mitel Cloud Services, Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey Hobbs, Terry Tam
