Abstract: A fuel control system for an automobile engine including a fuel intake passage for the flow of a combustible mixture of air and injected fuel towards the engine, an exhaust passage for the discharge of exhaust gases from the engine, an engine rotational speed detector, an engine load detector and a computer for controlling the supply of fuel to be injected in dependence on the concentration of a component of the exhaust gases representing the air-fuel ratio of the combustible mixture.
