  • Patent number: 8481105
Abstract: When forming an electrode by printing several times, the cross section area of the electrode is increased and the resistance is reduced while more electrode material is required, which leads to a cost up and waste of resources. There is provided a solar cell manufacturing method for forming an electrode of a predetermined pattern by repeating printing on a substrate surface by a predetermined number of times. A mask pattern for printing the entire predetermined pattern is used at least once among the predetermined number of printings while mask patterns, each for printing a part of the predetermined pattern, are used in the other printings, thereby forming the electrode of the predetermined pattern.

  • Patent number: 8397847
Abstract: In an electric power converter for a vehicle which is connected to an alternating-current generator for a vehicle and performs synchronous rectification, switching mistakes are reduced and efficiency is improved by setting an optimal control allowance time in generating a switching timing signal from a diode ON signal. A control allowance according to the operating state of a generator can be determined by obtaining a control allowance time as a sum of a control delay time which is constant irrespective of the operating state of the generator, and an allowance time which varies depending on the operating state of the generator. Thereby, optimal switching timing is obtained and the reduction of switching mistakes and an improvement in efficiency are performed.

  • Patent number: 8385295
Abstract: Conventionally, if the number of transmission antennas is greater than that of reception antennas, different signals simultaneously transmitted from the transmission antennas cannot be separated from one another at the receiving end, resulting in a significant degradation of received-signal quality. A transmitter and a receiver each have a plurality of antennas. The transmitter transmits a pilot signal. The receiver receives the pilot signal, calculates transmission-related information corresponding to the pilot signal, selects, based on this calculated information, a transmission signal to be used by the transmitter, and notifies the transmitter of the selected signal. The transmitter selects, from the informed transmission signal, transmission antennas and uses the selected antennas to transmit information signals, so that a signal separation can be easily performed at the receiving end.
