  • Patent number: 7589449
Abstract: The electric rotating machine includes a rotor and an armature. The rotor consists of a cylindrical part having a field winding and a claw-pole shaped magnetic pole part. A magnetic short-circuit mechanism is disposed between the magnetic pole parts adjacent each other in circumferential direction of a rotor core so as to cause a magnetic plate of a material of high magnetic permeability to move toward radial direction of the rotor core, thereby short-circuiting between N-pole and S-pole of a permanent magnet due to centrifugal force acting in accordance with rotation of the rotor.

  • Patent number: 7178069
Abstract: An electronic control unit includes a serial communication circuit capable of easily confirming presence or absence of communication error while regular transmission/regular report between master station and sub station are performed timely. First and second control circuit sections 200a (master station) and 200b (substation) communicate mutually via series-parallel converters 117, 127. The master station includes regular transmission device 201 and irregular transmission device 211. The substation includes regular report device 221, confirmation reply device 205 and report reply device 215 relative to transmission data from the master station, and unprocessed data table 204. The confirmation reply device 205 and report reply device 215 confirm whether or not downstream communication from the master station to sub station is normal.

  • Patent number: 7128184
Abstract: A motor-driven power steering control apparatus assuring consistently comfortable steering operation of a motor vehicle includes a steering state detecting (10), a motor drive command value arithmetic device (20), a trouble detector (40), a motor drive command value corrector (51, 52) for decrementing a motor drive command value outputted from the motor drive command value corrector (51) from a predetermined initial value as a function of time lapse when a trouble detection signal is outputted from the trouble detector (40), and an element (30) for driving an assist motor in conformance with the output of the motor drive command value corrector (51, 52). The motor drive command value corrector (51, 52) includes a low-pass filter (515) for smoothing the motor drive command value. A value acquired through the low-pass filter (515) is employed as the predetermined initial value.

  • Patent number: 7114381
Abstract: A fuel flow rate measuring apparatus for an internal combustion engine is capable of achieving cost reduction as well as measuring the flow rate of fuel with high accuracy over an entire fuel flow rate range. The apparatus includes an injection pulse width detection part for detecting an injection pulse width to drive injectors, an engine speed detection part for detecting the rotational speed of the engine, an injector driving frequency detection part for detecting an injector driving frequency per revolution of the engine from the rotational speed, a fuel injection amount characteristic setting part for setting at least one fuel injection amount characteristic corresponding to the injection pulse width, and a fuel flow rate detection part for detecting the flow rate of fuel per unit time from the injection pulse width, the injector driving frequency, and the fuel injection amount characteristic.

  • Patent number: 5992951
Abstract: An anti-lock brake control system capable of performing optimal control of braking hydraulic pressure in a motor vehicle having four wheels while preventing brake application from being released by setting an optimal pseudo vehicle speed by effectively making use of the wheel speeds of four wheels in arithmetic determination of a pseudo vehicle speed on a wheel basis. The anti-lock brake control system includes wheel speed detector (101a to 101d) for detecting rotation speeds of four wheels, respectively, reference wheel speed arithmetic calculators (102a to 102d) for setting limits on the wheel speed of the wheels in consideration of positional relations of the wheels relative to one wheel of concern to thereby determine a reference wheel speed, and pseudo vehicle speed arithmetic calculators (103a to 103d) for arithmetically determining the pseudo vehicle speed on the basis of the reference wheel speed.

  • Patent number: 5047817
Abstract: A semiconductor memory device according to the present invention comprises a memory cell having one transistor and one stacked capacitor. The stacked capacitor is stacked on the surface of a semiconductor substrate. Further, the stacked capacitor has a structure extending on a gate electrode and a word line through an insulating layer. A lower electrode layer of the capacitor has various concave/convex shapes, i.e. step portions and projecting portions formed on the surface thereof. These shapes are made by employing various etching processes. The lower electrode layer has such various concave/convex shapes formed thereon, so that a surface area and capacitance of the capacitor can be increased.
