Abstract: A hair care applicator of the present invention is one that can, while combing hair by a comber made up of comb members and a porous application body arranged along the comb members, apply an application liquid in a container being attached to the hair by means of the porous application body. The porous application body of the hair care applicator has a porosity (Vd) falling within a range of 70 to 85%. With this arrangement, the hair care applicator and the applicator-equipped cosmetic container can deliver a suitable supply of application liquid without liquid leakage of the application liquid and, in addition, can assure sufficient application performance, preventing the application liquid or the like from being directly applied to the scalp. Here the porosity is defined as Vd={1?(w/?sh)}×100, where w is the mass of the porous application body, s is the cross-section of the porous application body, ? is the mean density of the porous application body and h is the length of the porous application body.
Abstract: The present invention is a hair coater which appropriately delivers an paint liquid without liquid leakage of the paint liquid, and which, in addition, can assure sufficient paint performance, preventing the paint liquid or the like from being directly applied to the scalp, and the hair coater, which while combing hair by a comber made up of comb members and a multiple number of porous coating elements arranged comb-like in a row along the comb members, is able to apply the paint liquid in a container being attached to the hair by means of the porous coating elements, and is characterized in that the paint liquid retention force of the porous coating elements falls within a range of 120 to 250 mm. The present invention also includes a coater-equipped cosmetic container with the aforementioned hair coater.
Abstract: A carbon heating element having an arbitrary specific resistance and an arbitrary shape which are arbitrary necessary as a heating element, and a method of producing the same. The carbon heating element is obtained by uniformly dispersing one or at least two metal or metalloid compounds into a composition having shapability and showing a high yield of a carbon residue after firing, shaping the dispersed material-containing mixture thus obtained, and firing the shaped material under a nonoxidizing atmosphere.
